Glenn Highlands is close to a number of great beaches - Memorial Park, Christie Beach and Scotiaville in Meaford, Little River Beach and the beach in Craigleith Provincial Park near Thornbury.
For sailing enthusiasts, there are great harbours and marinas in Meaford and Thornbury.
The Beaver and Nottawasaga rivers offer great paddling for the whole family, whether by canoe, kayak or SUP. Free Spirit in Clarksburg are great for tours and rentals; they are also your go-to company for caving and rock climbing in the area.
Winter
Glenn Highlands offers a perfect landscape for great snow-shoeing and cross-country skiing.
Off-property, skiing at Beaver Valley, Georgian Peaks, Alpine and Blue Mountain is just minutes away.
